BIG DAISHOWA Invests in the Next Generation with Annual Program

Hoffman Estates, IL – Now in its fifth year, BIG DAISHOWA’s Tools for Schools program continues to help prepare the next generation of manufacturing professionals by providing schools with access to precision tooling.

From November 2, 2026, through January 29, 2027, BIG DAISHOWA will donate a tooling certificate valued at 20% of each qualifying order to the school of the customer’s choice. Participating schools can redeem certificates for BIG DAISHOWA products, including tool holders, boring tools, cutting tools, workholding products and presetters.

Last year marked the program’s highest level of participation to date. To date, nearly $120,000 in tooling certificates have been awarded to high schools, vocational schools, colleges and universities.

According to Jack Burley, President/COO of BIG DAISHOWA, the program reflects the company’s investment in the future of manufacturing.

“We want students to have the opportunity to learn and build their skills through hands-on experience with precision tooling. By bringing these tools into the classroom, schools can give students a better understanding of manufacturing and help prepare them for careers in the industry,” said Burley.

How to Participate

BIG DAISHOWA customers can participate in the Tools for Schools program by following these steps:

• Place a qualifying order of at least $5,000 in eligible BIG DAISHOWA products.
• Order through your local BIG DAISHOWA distributor and request direct drop shipment from BIG DAISHOWA.
• Include “PROMO-BD-SCHOOLS” as a line item on the order.

Customers then choose the high school, vocational school, college or university that will receive the tooling certificate, allowing the institution to select the precision tooling best suited to its manufacturing program.
