NEW BABY NUT has a 45˚ trapezoidal thread that offers less friction and better alignment to the center when clamping a collet. Since the threads greatly influence accuracy, it is finished ground after heat treatment. Therefore, influence from clamping action is eliminated, which enhances clamping performance. The nut incorporates a thrust bearing with steel balls that prevent stress to the collet and allow a smooth clamping force.
