New Pro Shrink TubeChiller Makes Shrink-Fit Tool Holding Safer and Easier

Speroni ProShrink

Hoffman Estates, IL - BIG DAISHOWA announced that it will offer the new Speroni Pro Shrink TubeChiller 1100. With the most advanced and complete shrinking technology in its class, the combination shrink and cooling system automatically cools down tool holders immediately after heating to reduce burn risk to operators.

With this standalone unit, the heat-shrinking process is easy. First, the high-frequency coil heats up the tool holder. Once the heating is done, the tool cooling process is automatic, with the body of the chiller cooling down the tool uniformly.

Other key highlights include:

  • The pyrometer constantly measures the tool holder’s temperature to avoid overheating
  • The heating action is maintained when the ideal temperature is reached, so overheating the tool holder is impossible
  • Start the shrinking process with one touch: Browse the menu and choose the parameters through the simple and intuitive display screen
  • Shrinking and cooling processes are customizable
  • The shrinking range is Ø 3 - 32 mm for carbide shanks and Ø 6 - 32 mm for HSS shanks

“Speroni has been a trusted partner for BIG DAISHOWA customers for decades,” says Patrick Cratty, SPERONI sales manager. “For the first time, we’re offering our customers their standalone shrink fit technology, but with a rich history. The Pro Shrink is actually the result of more than 20 years of tool measurement and tool shrinking expertise.”
