Buy Tools Today and Help Develop Tomorrow's Talent

Your next tooling order can help prepare the next generation of manufacturing professionals. Through BIG DAISHOWA’s annual Tools for Schools program, customers who place qualifying orders can designate a school to receive a tooling certificate valued at 20% of their purchase price.

Running November 2, 2026, through January 29, 2027, the program makes it easy to support manufacturing education while purchasing the precision tooling your business already needs.

How It Works

  • Place a qualifying order of $5,000 or more in eligible BIG DAISHOWA products.
  • Order through your local BIG DAISHOWA distributor and request direct drop shipment from BIG DAISHOWA.
  • Include “PROMO-BD-SCHOOLS” as a line item on your order.
  • Choose a school to support. BIG DAISHOWA will provide a tooling certificate valued at 20% of your qualifying order to the high school, vocational school, college or university of your choice.

The school can redeem the certificate for eligible BIG DAISHOWA products that best fit its manufacturing program, including tool holders, boring tools, cutting tools, workholding products and tool presetters.

Help Develop Tomorrow’s Manufacturing Talent

Finding and developing skilled manufacturing professionals remains important to the industry's future. Giving students hands-on experience with precision tooling helps them build practical skills and gain a better understanding of the machining processes used in today's manufacturing facilities.

Now in its fifth year, Tools for Schools has awarded nearly $120,000 in tooling certificates to high schools, vocational schools, colleges and universities. Last year marked the program's highest level of participation to date.

"We want students to have the opportunity to learn and build their skills through hands-on experience with precision tooling. By bringing these tools into the classroom, schools can give students a better understanding of manufacturing and help prepare them for careers in the industry," said Jack Burley, President/COO of BIG DAISHOWA.

By participating, customers can help schools provide meaningful hands-on learning opportunities for students who may become the industry's next generation of machinists, engineers and manufacturing professionals.

Contact your local BIG DAISHOWA distributor to participate and choose the school you want to support.
