These boring heads are designed to be used in combination with the steel or carbide-boring bars out of the accessory program, Series 112. In conjunction with the long carbide bar, the tool is well suited for vibration-free finishing operations in bores with unfavorable Ø/L-ratios. There are various integral and modular options for clamping these boring bars. Please see the chapter on tool holders.
