Installing a Presetter: Before, During and After

Whether it’s your first presetter or your tenth, each is an important purchase decision. From choosing the right equipment to getting the team up to speed, we pledge to be your partner every step of the way. Here’s a quick glimpse at just how the process works when you buy a presetter from BIG KAISER.

Before
If you’ve made the decision to buy a presetter, you probably already realize how tool measuring systems can drastically reduce setup times and help keep your spindles spinning. Now, it’s time to select the presetter that’s best for your business.

There’s no need to pay for capabilities that you don’t need. We’ll work with you directly to make sure you get just the right system for the type and volume of work your shop performs. We’re happy to do this because we understand that this is an investment and would never want to sell a customer something that the business doesn’t need. We’ll even do our best to work out a leasing option, if that’s the best option for you.

From the simple to the complex, the fact that we’re much more than just a presetter company gives us a leg up too. If you’re doing unique work, we can turn to our tooling, tool holding or workholding engineers to make sure we find a presetter solution that will work seamlessly.

No other presetter supplier can offer this level of support.

During
We keep a large inventory in stock at our headquarters outside Chicago. When a purchase order is received, we can deliver standard presetter equipment in just a couple weeks. With some added options, it may take up to 12 weeks. If it’s a customized solution, you can expect to have the new system up and running in four to five months. No matter the level of engineering and development, it’s all part of the deal. Like we said, we’re going to be there every step of the way.

After
When your new equipment arrives, a BIG KAISER representative will be on hand to help get you up to speed. Whether it’s a simple bench top Diaset or an advanced Speroni Futura, you’ll have a helping hand with everything from positioning the equipment to connecting air, power and computing connectivity.

For the more advanced systems, we’re going to spend the time necessary with your team to train them on how everything works. You won’t be left with a manual and a handshake. As simple as printing a label or as complex as synching with your TMS, we’ll adapt our training to your team’s knowledge, so that when we walk out the door the presetter is integrated into your manufacturing process and you’re enjoying ROI right away. It doesn’t stop there. We’ll be on call to field any questions you may have as you get up to speed

Test Us
There’s no better evidence of the faith we have in the performance and support we deliver than our Test Us program. You can try a Speroni Magis in your shop for 30 days, no risk.  Who else can offer that? Learn more here.
